The Butter Bar is a platform that trains, educates, and inspires new cooks to be confident in the kitchen. The founder, Head Chef Iredale, developed a passion for food at a young age, idolizing Emeril Lagasse and soaking up all the cooking knowledge he could find. He attended the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, CA, and started The Butter Bar after graduating from the United States Military Academy.
The most challenging aspect of this work is balancing a job as an Army Officer with a passion for cooking. Late nights and responsibilities leading soldiers make it difficult to find time for cooking and maintaining a social media presence. However, Chef Iredale takes pride in his job and loves what he does, and has found ways to balance his passions.
The most enjoyable aspect of this work is seeing how The Butter Bar influences people's lives. Chef Iredale loves receiving messages from people who have learned from his page, and he finds joy in cooking, exploring, and trying new restaurants. His goal is to spread that joy and help others find cooking as a creative outlet.

Chef Iredale's passion for food and cooking is evident in his work, and he hopes to continue to inspire people through his brand. Even though balancing his job as an Army Officer with his passion for cooking is challenging, Chef Iredale finds joy in all aspects of his work and loves seeing how his content influences people's lives.
